Whispering Pines is 30 miles west of Colorado Springs at 9,500 feet.
Colorado Springs Airport is about 41 miles from this cabin and Denver International is about 118 miles.
Whispering Pines has a wood stove. Firewood can be purchased locally.
Satellite television, DVD player and VCR.
Sleeps two only. A spiral staircase leads to the loft where there is a queen bed.
All the bed, bath and kitchen linens are supplied.
The private hot tub is open all year.
We sometimes get snow in September but our snowiest times are often in February, March and April.
I love my first cup of coffee in the hot tub on a winter morning.
Frequent visitors.
A four-wheel drive vehicle may be necessary in snowy conditions.
The kitchen has a refrigerator/freezer, electric range, microwave, plates,
coffee maker, cups, wine glasses, dinnerware, pots and pans, eating and
cooking utensils and there is a crock-pot and a blender, too.

Cabin is decorated just before Thanksgiving and left decorated until just after the New Year.
